Honors-Level Courses
All UAB Honors College students who earn 30 or more credit hours of honors-level coursework with a 3.5 GPA overall or better will graduate with High Distinguished Honors. Students who complete a minimum of 18 honors credit hours with a 3.5 GPA or better overall will graduate with Distinguished Honors. Students who complete 18 credit hours or more of honors-level coursework with an overall GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 will graduate with Honors. Specific requirements for our Personalized Pathway and our Specialized Programs are detailed in these sections.
Personalized Path:
UAB Honors College students on our Personalized Pathway who earn 30 or more credit hours of honors-level coursework with a 3.5 GPA overall or better will graduate with High Distinguished Honors.
